Daniel McGrath

Founder & Managing Partner

“When ‘tradition’ becomes a roadblock, it’s the spark where frustration meets change, igniting the flame of innovation.”

Daniel is the Founder and Managing Partner of Arkus Advisory, a Cayman Islands-based restructuring and advisory firm. He specialises in complex wind-downs, asset realisation, and cross-border coordination, with a particular focus on regulated fund structures, private investment vehicles, and structured finance entities.

With over a decade of experience, Daniel has advised on voluntary liquidations, regulatory de-registrations, managed wind-downs, and legal closure strategies across multiple jurisdictions, including the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the United States, and the United Kingdom. His engagements span hedge funds, private equity structures, private trust companies, and vehicles linked to collateralised debt obligations and litigation finance.

Prior to founding Arkus Advisory, Daniel led the solvent restructuring team at a global professional services firm, where he advised clients on the orderly closure of regulated and cross-border structures.
