Daniel McGrath

Founder & Managing Partner

“When ‘tradition’ becomes a roadblock, it’s the spark where frustration meets change, igniting the flame of innovation.”

Daniel is the Founder and Managing Partner of Arkus Advisory, a Cayman Islands-based restructuring and advisory firm. He focuses on complex wind-downs, asset realisation, and cross-border coordination, with particular emphasis on regulated fund structures, private investment vehicles, and structured finance entities.

He has over a decade of experience advising on voluntary liquidations, regulatory deregistration, managed wind-downs, and legal closure strategies across the Cayman Islands, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the United States, and the United Kingdom. His engagements span hedge funds, private equity structures, private trust companies, and vehicles linked to collateralised debt obligations and litigation finance.

Prior to founding Arkus, Daniel led the solvent restructuring team at a global professional services firm, advising clients on the orderly closure of regulated and cross-border structures.
