Michael is a Partner at Arkus Advisory, a Cayman Islands-based restructuring and insolvency firm. He is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience advising on formal insolvency appointments, asset recovery, and cross-border mandates. His focus includes investment funds, trust structures, and dispute-linked assets across both regulated and private entities.

Michael has been appointed as Official Liquidator and Receiver in the Cayman Islands and has led mandates across the Bahamas, Bermuda, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, the United Kingdom, and Australia. His experience spans official and provisional liquidations, voluntary liquidations, trust and fund disputes, contingency planning, and independent business reviews.

He regularly advises investment managers, trustees, lenders, and litigation counsel on insolvency-related matters, including enforcement strategies and recovery planning. His sector experience includes financial services, banking, aviation, construction, energy, and retail.

Prior to joining Arkus, Michael held senior roles at both independent and global professional services firms. He is a member of Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ) and is a qualified insolvency practitioner.
